This product is very reliable and does
everything that it promises. We have very hard water in San Diego and my
hair had to bear the brunt of it. But once I started using this filter ,
my hair is getting back to normal , no more dry and frizzy hair. My
hair loss issues have also stopped. This even increased the flow of
water than my previous old shower head. Definitely recommend this item.
I've been having problems with my hair for a
number of years. Recently my hair stylist moved to my neighborhood and
mentioned that ever since she moved, she was having problems with her
hair and wondered if it had anything to do with the water. She said
someone told her to try a filtered shower head -- so I thought I would
try one too. Within 3-5 days, I noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in my
hair -- I can style it much faster and my hair seems thicker. My
husband has noticed a difference in his hair also. I was also glad that
it came in the brushed nickel style so I could match my current bath
fixtures. My husband installed it and said it was very easy. We went
ahead and bought three replacement filters. The only thing I don't like
about it is that you can't really tell when the filter needs replaced
-- it says to replace it every six months but I think I will probably do
it more often than that. Very happy customer.
This is, without exaggeration, the best purchase I have ever made. It has a water-saving, 2.5-gallon-per-minute flow, which is both environmentally responsible and economical, combined with excellent water pressure and several powerful spray settings. (I prefer the standard spray setting, though, as the water pressure with some others can be almost too high.) It is well worth the price for these features alone. The added filtration capability truly makes this an essential purchase, not just a worthwhile one, and it has done wonders for my family's severe itchy skin and my long wavy hair. Skin and scalp problems (dermatitis, pruritus, eczema) that were resistant to any type of treatment, including prescriptions, lessened by approximately 80% after using this showerhead. The need for conditioners and styling aids to manage my long hair also decreased notably. This is not only a great, money-saving environmental purchase, but a great health and beauty purchase as well, and at such little cost. Furthermore, I installed it easily by myself in about 5 minutes, with only a wrench, and I'm still thrilled with it after 7 months. The best money I ever spent.
